Mohammed Sonday

Born and raised in Cape Town, Mohammed's educational background of Westerford High School and qualifying Bsc. (Honors) in Physiotherapy at University of Western Cape (2014). After completing his Community Service in Grahamstown (2015), he further specialized Post-Grad in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (OMT) in 2016. He then went to purse his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy through UKZN (2018-2023).

His work experience started in Grahamstown after completing his Community Service (2015), he started his own Private Practice in Sports and Orthopedics (2016) in Grahamstown. He was then appointed as the Sports Physiotherapist for Kingswood College in managing the sports injuries at the school. This involved traveling across the country for various sports tours.

With the growth of his practice and experience, he was appointed as a consultant for the Wanderers Sports Medical Centre (2020) this involved international work in Dubai and high-profile sports teams.

With this experience he was appointed as Consultant Physiotherapist for Professional Netball (2021-2022). He then got appointed as Head Physiotherapist for the Western Province Cricket Professional Men's Team (2022 - 2024) which involved treating and managing high-profile National players that play for the Proteas Men's Cricket team.

It was during this phase that he relocated and set up his 2nd Private Practice Office in Sea Point, Cape Town (2021-present).

He now serves as consultant to our Interventional Radiology team as a specialist Orthopedic Physiotherapist.
